Community Education
Community Outreach Educator: Co-facilitate HIV & STD prevention workshops for teens, local groups, and organizations in the area. Serve as an informative resource for community members and disseminate information about the clinic and its services. (Mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings, 6-month commitment requested; no experience necessary, on-the-job training)
Lit Drops: Assist in distributing health education and prevention brochures and literature to various community sites (eg. barber shops, salons, community centers, libraries, etc) to raise awareness and promote the dissemination of accurate health information. (Mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings, sporadic service permitted; no experience necesssary, on-the-job training)
